Senior Linux System Administrator

This role will focus on optimizing IT infrastructure for our Software System organization within the NVIDIA Business Unit. The role requires proven Linux System Administration experience, technical proficiency in scripting and monitoring, and strong communication skills. Candidates who have worked with NVIDIA hardware, hold relevant certifications, and possess coding abilities will stand out. What you’ll be doing:
Investigate IT-related challenges faced by Software System Design, Verification, and DevOps teams
Work with NVIDIA IT teams to develop and implement solutions
Collaborate effectively with IT teams globally to ensure flawless integration of IT changes
Build and maintain automated monitoring systems
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements to drive continuous improvement in Software System infrastructure
What we need to see:
BSc in Engineering/ Relevant Certifications/ equivalent experience
Over 5 years of proven experience as a Linux System Administrator
Proficiency in computer structures, Linux environments, storage, and networking support
Hands-on lab practice and a strong system-level understanding
Practical experience using monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, Nagios, or equivalents
Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Practical experience working with NVIDIA’s hardware
Experience with Infoblox
Good coding skills in bash or Python
Familiarity with Jenkins and Git
Great project management skills
