Description
As the Organic Growth Manager, you will be responsible for building and scaling OX’s organic acquisition engine. You’ll own organic acquisition end-to-end: finding demand, creating/launching pages and content that win it, and running fast experiments across SEO + LLM discovery (ChatGPT / Perplexity / Gemini), community, and distribution. This is not a “keep the site healthy” role, it’s a growth role measured on pipeline impact.
Responsibilities
What you’ll do:
- Build an organic growth engine: keyword → angle → asset → distribution → links → conversion.
- Run weekly experiments (programmatic SEO, new landing page formats, refreshes, internal linking, “topic clusters,” comparison pages, alternative pages, integration pages, templates, etc.).
- Own AI SEO / LLM discovery: optimize content to be referenced in AI answers (structure, citations, entity coverage, FAQs, comparisons, definitions, “best practices,” etc.).
- Turn product/research into high-leverage organic assets (benchmarks, data reports, vulnerability writeups, checklists, templates).
- Drive distribution + link acquisition through partnerships, communities, founder/exec channels, newsletters, PR hooks, and “link-worthy” assets.
- Build and maintain the organic roadmap (opportunity sizing, prioritization, velocity).
- Collaborate closely with PMM/content/design/devrel to ship assets fast and iterate.
- Instrument performance: dashboards, cohort analysis, conversion tracking, assisted pipeline.
What success looks like:
- Organic traffic growth to ICP pages (not vanity traffic).
- Increase in qualified demo/signups and pipeline influenced by organic.
- More rankings for high-intent categories (alternatives, comparisons, “best X for Y”, templates).
- Increased visibility / citations in LLM answers for your core categories.
Faster content velocity + measurable lift from experiments.
Requirements
What we’re looking for:
- 4–6 years in organic growth / SEO / content-led growth for B2B SaaS (bonus: security/devtools).
- Proven ability to ship growth experiments and explain results with clarity.
- Strong content instincts: positioning, narrative, and “what will earn clicks + trust.”
- Comfort with lightweight technical concepts (indexing, CWV basics, schema, internal linking) — but you don’t need to be an engineer.
- High ownership + speed: you can go from idea → live test → learn in days, not weeks.
- Data literacy (GA4/Search Console/Ahrefs or similar + basic attribution thinking).
Nice to have:
- Programmatic SEO experience (templates, scalable page systems).
- Experience with AI search/LLM optimization strategies.
- Cybersecurity/AppSec vocabulary and buyer journey familiarity.
- Community distribution (Reddit, Hacker News, LinkedIn, Slack communities).
