IT Lead
As the IT Lead, you will manage the IT Radiology Informatics infrastructure at our Ra’anana site, focusing primarily on PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) solutions. Your mission is to empower our R&D teams by delivering and maintaining a robust, efficient development environment that enables them to achieve their goals.
Our solution provides a complete and scalable local and wide-area Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) solutions for hospitals and related institutions/sites, which will archive, distribute, retrieve, and display images and data from hospital modalities and information systems
Your role:
- You will be part of the Philips Image Management solution team which provides a complete and scalable local and wide area Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) solutions. You will report to Eyal Windler, Platform and Infrastructure Manager.
- You will serve as the face of IT to the assigned business entity and its stakeholders, both internally and externally, including escalation management.
- You will be responsible for the design and delivery of the IT infrastructure which supports the R&D operations while taking into account budget and cost control.
- You will maintain all aspects of the local datacentre including hardware, software, networking, storage, etc.
- You will be responsible for local help desk.
- You will evaluate new technologies relevant for the IT infrastructure implementation and strive for continuous improvement of services offered internally to further increase productivity.
- You will work with vendors and 3rd party suppliers, prepare and negotiate purchase orders.
- You will support various audits, including security related audits.
- You will support the integration efforts with Philips global IT.

You're the right fit if
- You hold a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- You have 7+ years of working experience as a system administrator/specialist.
- You can create a cluster environment from scratch.
- You have in depth experience with Virtual Environments (VMWare, Hyper-V), Storage Management, Windows Operating System.
- You have experience with data centre maintenance.
- You are able to deal with complex organizations and cross functional teams, negotiate solutions and represent the business needs.
- You have strong communication skills and a fluent level of English.
Preferred requirements
- Experience with shifting workloads to public Cloud providers.
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience in managing teams and/or improvement programs while being a technical focal point.
- Experience with Network configuration and with VMWare vCloud Director.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This role is an office role.
