The role is suitable for engineers in early stages of their career, with strong hands‑on orientation and willingness to grow into broader system responsibilities. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for mechanical design and development of components & sub- assemblies within the complex detection systems for CT machines. The Mechanical Engineer will progressively own end‑to‑end mechanical deliverables, gaining hands‑on experience across the full product lifecycle and responsibility for design quality and robustness. Starting from the initial design to the preliminary design, critical design, prototypes, manufacturing transfer and full manufacturing support.
Your role:
Perform mechanical design – CAD models, drawings, prototype manufacturing, and production transfer
Perform mechanical calculations and analyses including hand calculations, tolerance analysis, and basic FEA
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and documenting of mechanical units/subsystems of small to medium scope
Prepare engineering documentation - specifications, drawings, test reports
Analyze and propose mechanical solutions to DMS subsystem challenges. Ability to evaluate & define the design correction – when needed
Under guidance of senior engineers and management, actively participate in system‑level design reviews and integration, contributing mechanical input.
You are the right fit if you have:
B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering.
Qualifications in Technical Engineering
At least 3 years of experience in mechanical design
Experience with CREO / Pro‑E or equivalent professional CAD systems
Experience with metal parts design including understanding FEA considerations and tolerance analysis
Experience in design parts for metal casting and machining
Experience with Specification Documents, mechanical design documents & test protocols
Fluent English
Preferred skills are:
Knowledge of IDEAS - an advantage
Experience in Medical devices arena - an advantage
