Frontline is an established leader in the field of CAM software for PCB manufacturing. We have embarked on the exciting path of adding artificial intelligence capabilities to our products.
We are looking for an Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Deep Learning Engineer – Generative AI (LLMs/VLLMs) to join our AI team.
Responsibilities include creating machine learning models, deploying them within our existing products, retraining and maintaining them. This entails all algorithmic and software engineering aspects. To do this job successfully, you need exceptional software engineering skills additionally to data science background.
Your ultimate goal will be to shape and build efficient AI applications that seamlessly integrate into our existing products.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement appropriate Machine Learning or Deep Learning algorithms and tools according to product requirements
- Full closure of development cycle from initial idea all the way to seamless integration with existing products
- Work as a team member for optimal achievement of project goals
- Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods
- Train, evaluate, and fine-tune models using both cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Apply advanced techniques such as LLM/VLLM fine-tuning, quantization, and RAG to optimize performance and contextual accuracy
- Extend and customize ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch) for specific use cases
- Run machine learning tests and experiments on the teams chosen platforms (on cloud & on premise)
- Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
- Keep abreast of developments in the AI/ML field
- Attain a high degree of knowledge in the domain of PCB manufacturing
Minimum Qualifications
- BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar field; Master’s degree or higher is a plus
- At least 3 years Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
- Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture
- Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- 3 years’ experience writing robust code in Python
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks PyTorch
- Excellent communication skills, Ability to work in a team
