Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
- Participate in design for DfX: Service, Production and Operation.
- Engineering Change Order (ECO) management.
- Management product testing methodology and require equipment.
- Work with design engineers to identify, specify, document and implement manufacturing procedures required for assembly and test of new designs.
- Management the production methodology.
- Bill of Material (BOM) definition -working tightly with the Operations teams: Sync with the Supply chain, Manufacturing Design Engineering and Buyers teams to meet procurement needs.
- Collaborate with the Service team in managing New Product service requirements -defining FRUs (Field Replacement Units) ,packaging & shipment requirements.
- Participate in FAI (First Article Inspection) process - first prototype assembly ect
- Provide training to the manufacturing engineers.
- Responsiblity for defining, implementing, and embedding the PMO (Project Management Officer) function within the Engineering Hardware group, working closely with the designers and system team to establish project governance, standardize processes, and drive cross-functional alignment.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
- 3+ years of experience in NPI, manufacturing engineering, or transfer to production
- Strong understanding of BOM management, product configuration, and documentation control.
- Experience with PLM systems (e.g.,Enovia – Advantage)
- Familiarity with Mechanical drawings review
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Experience in the semiconductor industry- advantage
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies , experience with MS project , Office timeline plus- advantage
- Knowledge of project tasks management.- advantage
- Motivated and fast-learning, capable of working independently, and can effectively coordinate with a globally distributed team.
