Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

KLA is looking for an Engineering Product/Program Manager to join the operations unit. The EPM is the owner and responsible for product transfer from R&D to high volume manufacturing (HVM) in rapid time to market.

What your job will look like

The EPM is involved in prototype design phase and zero series production, driving for product manufacturability and maturity and responsible for production flow validation. The EPM is a critical pivot in product evolution, performance and quality.

The job includes:

• Leading the operation PLC phase exits, driving to product readiness to HVM in terms of knowledge, infrastructure, CT, RPC etc.
• Configuration control, BOM structure readiness and improvements
• Building and implementing production testing tools, jigs and test benches.
• LEAN leadership and quality control of new products, identifying errors or waste in the process and taking action to avoid it in the future.
• Product COGS reduction management, ownership and commitment to organization targets.
• Work closely with R&D disciplines, working and managing suppliers & contract manufacture (full TK)
• Representing and proactive at all PDR, CDR, Gates, etc.
• Preparing production files, production flow & procedures

Minimum Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Mechanical engineering.
• 2-4 years of experience in similar positions
• Vast experience in NPI environment with multi-disciplinary product.
• Experience in production manufacturing processes
• “Hands-on” orientation.
• Excellent skills in managing interfaces, in a matrix structure.
• Good understanding of BOM structure and procedure preparations
• Experience with ProE & SolidWorks – an advantage
• Great problem solver
• Leadership ability
