Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

In this role you will test, troubleshoot, repair and calibrate production optical components according to procedures and strict quality assurance.

Main responsibilities:

• Assemble optical components and sub-assemblies systems according to schematics, mechanical drawings and written procedures
• Conduct optical measurements, inspection, cleaning and tests for various optic components using dedicated jigs and microscope
• Work in and maintain a safe, efficient clean-room environment while assembling and testing sensitive optical components
• Follow safety procedures for operating Xenon & laser-based systems and assembly procedures for delicate optical components
• Preforming experiments with Eng./NPL team when implementing new product family with detailed results output and cooperation

Minimum Qualifications

P.E in electronics, optics, or similar relevant field.

Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience

Fine motor skills required; optical assembly experience preferred

Must be able to read mechanical schematic diagrams

Working in lab environment with optical test equipment such as optical power meters, spectrometers, alignment cameras is an advantage

High English communication level including writing and day to day communications via email and various company’s platforms

Maintain a positive attitude and work as a member of a cohesive team as well as independently
