Senior Software Engineer (Go&Blockchain)

About the Role: We are seeking an exceptional senior engineer to lead the build of Plaee Markets — our flagship product, and the liquidity gateway that connects institutional capital to every major prediction-market venue. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and develop the backend systems powering liquidity providers, market-making strategies, execution engines, and real-time market infrastructure across leading prediction markets. Working closely with the CTO, you'll help architect scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems that combine blockchain technologies, low-latency backend services, and modern cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on senior engineering role where you'll spend most of your time designing and building production systems, solving complex distributed systems challenges, and contributing to the long-term technical architecture of the platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build high-performance backend services using Go (Golang)
- Develop state of the art liquidity provisioning bridge for the global prediction markets exchanges eco-system.
- Build integrations with blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and trading platforms
- Integrate with exchanges APIs and real-time market data feeds
- Implement reliable workflow orchestration using Temporal
- Design scalable event-driven microservices using NATS
- Build resilient services for order execution, blockchain transaction processing, and market connectivity
- Design and optimize distributed systems for scalability, reliability, and low latency
- Write automated tests, observability, monitoring, and operational tooling
- Collaborate with the CTO on architecture, technical decisions, and platform evolution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional Go (Golang) development
- 3+ years of blockchain/Web3 development
- Strong experience designing and building distributed backend systems and blockchain applications on EVM-compatible networks, including smart contract integration and production-grade transaction processing
- Deep understanding of blockchain architecture and transaction lifecycles, including transaction signing, gas optimization, nonce management, confirmations, and chain reorganizations
- Comfortable using modern AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as part of the daily software development workflow
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience with Temporal (or similar workflow orchestration platforms)
- Experience with NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies
- Experience with Kubernetes and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production support skills
Required Skills:
- Experience with financial exchanges technologies. (Central Limit Order Books, contract trading, liquidity bridges, etc).
- Experience with Conditional Token Frameworks (CTF)
- Experience with wallet infrastructure or MPC wallets
- Familiarity with Terraform and cloud infrastructure
