Description
We’re looking for a visionary and execution-oriented Tech Product Lead to drive the strategy, roadmap, and cross-functional delivery of playCONNECT – PLAYSTUDIOS’ core technology platform. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, game development, and operations, playing a critical part in shaping the future of our mobile gaming ecosystem and loyalty infrastructure.
As the Tech Product Lead, you’ll define and evolve the product vision, lead a team of Product Managers, and ensure playCONNECT continues to scale with the needs of our growing portfolio of games and partners. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.
Your responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and champion the strategic direction of playCONNECT, ensuring alignment with PLAYSTUDIOS' overall business goals.
- Drive platform innovation across key areas, including mobile game development support, loyalty program integration, marketing tools, data analytics, and web technologies.
Roadmap Ownership & Prioritization
- Develop and maintain a clear, data-informed product roadmap balancing short-term execution with long-term scalability and innovation.
- Own the full product lifecycle (PLC), from ideation through deployment and iteration.
- Make critical prioritization and trade-off decisions based on business value, resource constraints, and stakeholder feedback.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Engineering, UI/UX, Data, Marketing, playAwards, and Game Studios to ensure seamless integration of playCONNECT technologies into all products.
- Facilitate alignment and accountability across functions to deliver on shared goals.
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, fostering a high-performance culture with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Provide clear direction, growth opportunities, and regular performance feedback.
Platform Scalability & Performance
- Oversee the reliability, scalability, and performance of playCONNECT’s infrastructure, SDKs, and web tools.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical or architectural challenges that could impede platform growth.
Stakeholder Communication & Alignment
- Act as the key liaison between the playCONNECT team and senior leadership, game studios, and operational teams.
- Ensure transparency and alignment on goals, progress, and trade-offs.
User & Data-Driven Product Decisions
- Use analytics, user feedback, and market research to refine features, optimize user experience, and maximize value to internal and external stakeholders.
Partner Integrations
- Lead the strategy and execution of integrating playCONNECT capabilities into partner applications.
- Ensure seamless technical integration, adoption, and support across various partner ecosystems.
Requirements
Our Requirements
- Fluent English is mandatory.
- Proven experience in leading platform or B2B2C product teams, ideally in gaming, SaaS, or loyalty ecosystems.
- Deep understanding of technical products, APIs, SDKs, and systems integration.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling internal platforms that support multiple products and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform decisions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
- Experience managing and mentoring product managers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Bonus If You Have
- Background in mobile gaming, loyalty programs, or digital rewards.
- Experience with productizing internal tools for external partner adoption.
- Familiarity with agile product development methodologies.
