POP Slots is Playstudios' biggest title, entertaining hundreds of thousands of loyal players with a real social experience, from immersive 3D tournaments to engaging social bonuses, making it the most innovative social casino game.
Responsibilities:
- Economy Design & Optimization – Build and manage the in-game economy, including our currency systems, pricing models, and reward structures, focusing on enhancing game experience and growing monetization.
- Team management – manage a team of game economists, provide professional training, mentorship and leadership.
- Data Analysis & Behavioral Insights – Collect, analyze, and interpret player behavior across multiple data sources to drive strategic decision-making.
- Dynamic Economy Balancing – Implement data-driven adjustments to maintain a sustainable balance between fun gameplay and business objectives.
- Player Segmentation & Personalization – Develop advanced segmentation models based on behavior, preferences, and spending patterns to enable targeted strategies.
- Collaboration with LiveOps – Partner with LiveOps to design personalized offers, events, and promotions that maximize engagement and monetization
- Experimentation & Testing – Design and run A/B tests and other controlled experiments to measure the impact of economy changes, new features, and promotional strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in game economy design and/or data analysis within gaming or a related industry.
- Strong grasp of virtual economies, free-to-play models, and in-game monetization mechanics.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data tools and methodologies.
- Passion for games, with a deep understanding of player motivations, behaviors, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
