PLAYSTUDIOS is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Social Media Manager to join our dynamic Team for a maternity leave cover.
At Playstudios, we are passionate about delivering fun experiences and want to inspire play every day. We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Manager to be part of our Official Tetris Community team. In this role, you will contribute to increasing player engagement, retention, and growth through various community initiatives.
A key component of this role is leveraging AI-driven workflows and hands-on content creation to maintain our high standard of community interaction and visual storytelling.
Duties and Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy: Lead and implement comprehensive strategies across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Foster in-game growth and player retention through calculated, platform-specific tactics.

AI-Powered Workflow: Utilize AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, Jasper, or similar) to streamline content ideation, copywriting, and data analysis. We expect you to leverage AI to increase efficiency and creative output.

Content Creation: Act as a lead creator; filming, editing, and designing engaging short-form video content (Reels/TikToks) and static assets that resonate with the Tetris community.

Campaign Management: Execute social media campaigns aimed at expanding user growth and enhancing player retention.

Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, product, creative, and support teams to ensure cohesive global initiatives.

Analytics & Reporting: Provide regular updates on performance metrics and KPIs, using data-driven insights to optimize future strategies.

Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of the curve regarding social media trends, gaming updates, and emerging AI technologies in marketing.

Community Interaction: Actively engage with our player base, fostering a positive and interactive environment.

Player Council: Lead our Player Council, organizing monthly meetings to gather feedback and sharing those insights with product teams to drive game improvements.
Requirements

3+ years of experience developing gaming communities and driving player engagement.

Proficiency in AI Tools: Demonstrated experience using AI for content generation, creative brainstorming, and workflow automation.

Content Creation Skills: Strong portfolio in video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere/Rush) and graphic design (Canva, Photoshop) specifically for social platforms.

Strong expertise in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and influencer marketing.

Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluent in written and spoken English.

Gaming industry experience is required, with a preference for casual gaming or puzzle genres.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid role based in our Tel Aviv office, with three on-site workdays per week.
