R&D Agile PMO

Sapiens is seeking an R&D Agile PMO to drive the implementation of SAFe and organization-wide agile ways of working across its R&D teams. Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Operations for Technology and Product, the role will establish scalable processes, standard pod structures, and PI planning in line with R&D leadership’s vision to improve throughput and efficiency. The position will act as a thought leader on agile best practices, supporting R&D leaders through training, documentation, and artefacts, while also ensuring strong visibility into R&D performance through reporting and key metrics such as cycle time, velocity, and throughput. In addition, the role will identify inefficiencies and operational risks, lead mitigation and improvement initiatives, support governance forums, and communicate progress to senior stakeholders, including R&D leadership and senior leadership stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the implementation and scaling of SAFe methodologies across R&D, embedding Agile ways of working to improve delivery efficiency and consistency
- Provide thought leadership on Agile best practices, influencing R&D leaders and supporting adoption through training and documentation
- Track and report on key development KPIs (e.g., cycle time, lead time, on-time delivery), identifying inefficiencies and driving continuous improvement
- Design and support governance forums, ensuring clear tracking of actions, progress reporting, and effective communication with senior stakeholders

Requirements:
• 2–3 years of experience in Agile delivery, transformation, or program/project coordination roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience working in a SaaS business environment – Must.
• Proven experience collaborating with C-level and executive leadership.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe.
• Experience working with software development lifecycle tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git-based tools, monitoring systems).
• PMP / Prince2 / SAFe certification – Advantage.
• Fluent in English and Hebrew – Must.
