Student position at the Product and Application Engineering Team
The Product and Application Engineering team is responsible for driving application development, application adoption, and application support for existing and new solutions, in various industries. The team is the link between customers, and the sales/marketing/R&D departments. Working closely alongside these departments you will act as a key technical advisor and product advocate. This pivotal role aims to raise customer satisfaction and facilitate solution adoption.
The Product and Application Engineering team identifies customers’ needs, provides reliable printed solutions, sales tools and manages escalated pre & post sales technical support to empower our customers with advanced Additively Manufactured solutions. This role may require participating in customer meetings in Israel or abroad, training regional application engineers, attending shows, and staying up to date on market trends and competition.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Become a subject matter expert on advanced applications in Aerospace, Automotive, Industrial machining, and other industries
- Test and define solutions and best practices, as well as write white papers and guides meeting quality and time requirements
- Conduct benchmarks, produce sample parts, guide regional Application Engineers, and perform trainings at Stratasys or customer site
- Represent customer needs, bridging between customers and R&D/product/sales/marketing
Qualifications
- Student of BSc in Mechanical, Industrial or Material engineering
- A balance of 3 semesters remaining and availability 2-3 times a week.
- Self-motivated, independent, creative and collaborative
- Prioritize and work effectively on multiple projects and with multiple departments
- High technical competency to support printer operation and maintenance
- High verbal, written and presentation skills in English
- Have a customer service mentality with both internal and external stakeholders
- Result driven, with high problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft office
- Advantage: Knowledge in 3D modeling / CAD software
- Advantage: Experience in 3D Printing
- Travel: up to 25%.
