Team8-Cyber AI stealth start up- Employee Experience Specialist
Team8
Description
We’re building a category-defining cybersecurity company with a bold, artistic brand that looks and feels nothing like the rest of the industry. Every detail matters to us – from the product we ship to the way our office feels when you walk in. We’re looking for an Employee Experience Specialist who shares that sensibility: someone who obsesses over the details that turn a workplace into something employees genuinely brag about.
This role is about creating moments that matter – and making them beautiful. From a perfectly curated holiday gift that outshines anything an employee’s partner brings home, to a company event with the production value of a brand launch – you’ll own every touchpoint of the employee experience with the same creative ambition and attention to craft that defines our brand.
What You’ll Do
Events & Routine-Breakers
• Plan and produce a monthly “routine-breaker” that genuinely shakes up the workday – an evening out, a surprise activity, a themed party. Each one should feel fresh, creative, and worth talking about.
• Lead at least 2 major annual events with serious production value: company trips abroad, blowout parties, luxury off-site weekends. Every detail – from the invite to the venue to the smallest creative choice – should reflect our brand’s identity. Work closely with production companies from concept through execution and hold them to our standard. The bar is “wow” – anything less gets reworked.
• For every event, prepare a detailed brief: the concept and why it’s the right one, vetted vendor options with references and reviews, and a clear cost proposal.
• Be fully present and hands-on at every event. You’re not sitting back – you’re circulating, checking that everyone has eaten, asking every employee if they’re having a great time, and addressing any issue the moment it surfaces.
Celebrations & Personal Milestones
• Own every employee birthday end-to-end: themed desk decorations, a handwritten card, a cake tailored to the employee’s preference, a morning WhatsApp announcement, and a 15-minute afternoon celebration coordinated around leadership schedules. No employee should ever feel forgotten.
• Mark work anniversaries with decorated workstations, a dedicated anniversary token, and direct-manager involvement. A year in a startup is an eternity – make it feel like a milestone.
• Design and curate holiday gift packages for every Israeli holiday and observance. Rule of thumb: our package should outshine whatever the employee’s partner brings home – not necessarily by cost, but by creativity and thoughtfulness.
• For major holidays (Rosh Hashanah, Passover), go bigger – a premium, inventive gift on top of the standard package.
• Transform the office for every holiday season – costumes and masks for Purim, apple and honey for Rosh Hashanah – so the space itself tells the story.
Biweekly All-Hands
• Run our biweekly company gathering – the primary channel for sharing what’s happening across the company. Make it well-produced, engaging, and varied so it never feels stale. Draw inspiration broadly and keep the format evolving.
Day-to-Day Employee Experience
• Set and maintain the standard for how employees feel every single day – welcomed and genuinely taken care of.
Requirements:
What You’ll Bring
• 3+ years in Employee Experience in a fast-paced tech environment.
• An obsession with detail and quality. You notice what others miss, and “good enough” isn’t in your vocabulary.
• Creative ambition and aesthetic sensibility. You don’t just plan events – you design experiences. You have an eye for design, care about how things look and feel, and instinctively reach for the unexpected touch that elevates something from nice to unforgettable.
• Event production experience. You’ve managed creative, high-budget events end-to-end and know how to hold production teams accountable to a high bar.
• Assertiveness and grit. You stand your ground with vendors, push back when something isn’t right, and don’t wait for permission to fix a problem.
• A hospitality instinct. You genuinely care about how people feel – in the office, at an event, during a tough week. That care comes through in everything you do.
• Ownership mentality. This role extends beyond regular hours when events, holidays, or moments demand it, and you wouldn’t have it any other way.
Why Join Us
• Direct collaboration with the founding team – your decisions shape the company’s culture and DNA from day one.
• Full ownership and real budget to create an employee experience that sets a new standard.
• A small, high-caliber team with a distinctive brand and design sensibility, building something category-defining in cybersecurity.
• Competitive compensation and meaningful equity.
• A company that treats employee experience as a critical function – not an afterthought.
