Core Responsibilities
- Design cash-flow logic and early warning triggers
- Help build a Financial Health Score for 0–10 employee service businesses
- Translate messy accounting data into decision rules
- Guide offshore team on financial logic implementation
- Join customer calls to build trust and credibility
- Active US CPA license
- 5+ years experience working with 0–10 employee service-based SMBs
- Direct advisory experience with business owners (not only filings)
- Strong cash flow management expertise
- Experience identifying early financial distress signals
- Comfortable explaining financial concepts in simple language
Must-Have Strengths
- Pattern recognition across many small businesses
- Ability to define thresholds and triggers (e.g., payroll %, AR aging risk, burn rate)
- Comfortable challenging business owners
- Practical, not theoretical
- Calm and trustworthy presence
