Description
Who We Are & What You’ll Own
Fig leads the Security Operations Resilience movement – keeping detection and response working through constant change. Fig finds and fixes broken security flows across the SecOps stack, and enables security teams to quickly design, simulate, and deploy planned initiatives.
We’re looking for a Founding VP Finance to build and own the company’s financial backbone from the ground up. This is a true 0 to 1 role at the intersection of strategy and execution – partnering closely with the CEO on fundraising, board management, and key business decisions, while also building the systems, metrics, and processes that will define how the business operates. You’ll define how Fig measures success, makes decisions, and scales – from the first financial model to a global financial infrastructure.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the financial infrastructure of the company from 0 to 1 – design and build the financial infrastructure and core metrics that will guide decision-making
- Build and own the company’s financial model, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Lead fundraising efforts end-to-end – from shaping the financial narrative to building investor materials and managing the data room
- Define and track the company’s key business metrics (burn, runway, unit economics, efficiency) and provide clear visibility to leadership and the board
- Partner closely with leadership on pricing, GTM strategy, and headcount planning – acting as a strategic thought partner, not just a financial operator
- Partner closely with the VP Sales on forecasting, pipeline visibility, and revenue planning
- Oversee legal and financial operations, including contracts, ESOP, and insurance, and manage external partners (accounting, tax, legal)
- Own board communications and reporting
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in finance, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role (VP of Finance, Director of Finance, or Head of Finance)
- Deep experience in early-stage, high-growth startups (Seed to Series B/C)
- Proven experience supporting or leading successful fundraising rounds and managing investor relations
- Expert-level understanding of SaaS business models and metrics (ARR, NRR, Burn Multiple, CAC/LTV)
- Experience managing finance for a global company (HQ/Subsidiary structures, US/Israel taxation, etc.)
- Hands-on approach, willing to roll up your sleeves and operate in a lean environment
- Ability to move beyond the numbers and provide strategic insights that influence the company’s direction
