Utron is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing vendor scheduling to join our team and support the continuity and efficiency of our supply chain operations. In this role you will play a key role in ensuring supply chain timetable by closely monitoring suppliers, expediting deliveries, resolving logistical issues, and supporting purchasing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily follow-up on open purchase orders and expediting deliveries to ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD)
- Updating delivery dates in ERP systems and coordinating local & international shipments
- Ongoing communication with domestic and global suppliers to resolve delays, shortages, or discrepancies
- Matching purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices; resolving discrepancies with Finance
- Close collaboration with Warehouse and Planning to report critical delays and support production needs
- Issuing purchase orders for ongoing operational and consumable items
Requirements:
- Practical Engineer (Industrial Engineering & Management) or higher
- Fluent Hebrew and very good English (written & spoken)
- 1–2 years of experience in purchasing administration and/or expediting – advantage
- Experience working with ERP systems (Priority – advantage)
- Strong Excel skills – advantage
