We are looking for a Manufacturing & NPI Engineer to support the full product lifecycle—from new product introduction through supplier production, installation, and field service.
This role combines hands-on manufacturing engineering, supplier collaboration, and technical ownership of complex electro-mechanical systems deployed worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Lead NPI activities for multi-disciplinary products from design transfer to production ramp-up
- Serve as technical owner for released products, supporting fabrication, assembly, installation, service, and customer adaptations
- Apply DFx methodologies to improve manufacturability, quality, and cost
- Work closely with local and overseas suppliers, supporting Turnkey manufacturing, integration, FAIs, and quality readiness
- Own product documentation, including BOMs, jigs, fixtures, and ECOs
- Drive cost-reduction and second-source initiatives
- Troubleshoot production and field tech issues and lead root-cause analysis
Requirements
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory
- 5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing / NPI Engineer for multi-disciplinary, electro-mechanical products
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication technologies, and tooling
- Hands-on problem-solving experience in production and field environments
- Proficiency in SolidWorks. Experience with ERP systems
- Familiarity with quality control practices and supplier manufacturing
- English - Advanced level (written and spoken)
- Travel (~20% yearly)
