VP R&D (559)

We are looking for a VP R&D to lead all project execution and development activities in a technology company that designs and implements complex automated systems for the global market.

The role combines full responsibility for large-scale project delivery with leadership of product development, standardization, and the implementation of advanced technologies, including AI solutions.

The VP will be a member of the senior management team, report directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partnering in defining the technological roadmap
• Leading standardization and work processes
• Integrating new technologies
• Bridging product development with field/project needs
• Overall responsibility for meeting timelines, budgets, and delivery quality.
• Managing multiple projects in parallel, including complex international customer projects
• Managing technological and project-related risks
• Continuous improvement of delivery processes and resource management
• Participation in strategic decisions for major projects

Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience as a VP R&D / Director (Hands on).
• Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience managing large-scale technology teams
• Combined experience in both product and project environments
• Experience in matrix management – an advantage
• Experience working with the U.S. market – an advantage
• Strong technical orientation and ability to understand multidisciplinary systems
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate teams in a dynamic environment
• Experience in automation systems, smart logistics, or robotics – an advantage
• High level of business English
