What will you do?
Vectorious has developed the world’s first in-heart microcomputer and is on a mission to transform heart failure treatment. As part of our first in-human clinical study, we have successfully implanted our sensory device in patients across Europe, while demonstrating a huge potential in helping millions of people living with heart failure to take control and manage their disease. As an increasingly growing company we’ve been accepted to FDA’s prestige Breakthrough Device Designation program.
Now, we are looking for a talented Principal MEMS Engineer to join our R&D team.
What will you do?
- Lead MEMS pressure sensor design, FEOL, BEOL, testing and characterization, reliability, failure analysis and simulations and modeling.
- Work with our MEMS design house and foundry – direct and supervise the projects, challenge the partner team, verify their results, design and perform experiments, analyze the results, summarize and report on chips/wafers/lots.
- Commercial devices market review of MEMS pressure sensor, identify relevant devices, fully understand the design and processing of those devices, technical ownership of the evaluation process of those devices including modeling and simulations, electronic wiring and packaging, testing and characterization, reliability and failure analysis.
- Collect and analyze data from manufacturing line and in-vivo related to MEMS performance and reliability and recommend design modifications.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary investigation team as MEMS expert.
- Initiate new activities and projects for performance and reliability enhancement.
What do you need to bring with you?
- BSc (MSc or PhD advantage) in electrical engineering, applied physics, mechanical engineering, materials science/engineering or related fields from a recognized and leading academic institution.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in MEMS development positions.
- MEMS surface micromachining expert with proven track-record of device development from concept to field. Deep understanding of process-related issues on device performance and reliability. Ability to work with our MEMS design house and foundry, direct them, challenge their assumptions and supervise their activities and verify their results. Hands on experience in MEMS design, FEOL, BEOL, testing and characterization, reliability, failure analysis - Must
- MEMS bulk micromachining commercial device – electronic wiring and packaging, testing and characterization, reliability, failure analysis in view of deep understanding of device design and processes - Must
- Ability to work with electronic test setups and instrumentation for data collection and analysis - Must
- Hands-on experience with Data Mining: collecting, designing and using databases from structured and unstructured data, extracting actionable insights and producing data for training and optimization - Must
- Knowledge of Python - Advantage
- Familiarity with ASIC - Advantage
