Description
The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for managing team of demand planners, managing the global demand forecast, defining workflows, and providing tools for the demand planning team, as well as collaborating with key stakeholders such as sales, finance, and supply teams. The role includes data analysis, leading S&OP discussions, identifying and managing gaps actual vs. budget, and driving initiatives for continuous improvement of forecast accuracy and operational alignment. This position plays a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and shaping the company’s operational and financial plans.
Main Responsibilities
- Managing a team of 2-5 demand Planners – overall management responsibility professional and personal
- Build demand planning capability, grounded in best practices methodologies and driven by data
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts across products and global markets
- Partner closely with Sales, Sales, Finance to align demand plans
- Embedded planning routines including S&OP process
- Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions to support supply and availability
- Work cross-functionally to ensure product availability and support growth targets
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field – required.
- 3–5 years of experience in Demand Planning Business Planning, or Sales Operations managing a global organization – required.
- Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies and demand drivers
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
