Description
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented IT Applications Project Manager to join our Global IT team. In this role, you will be the engine behind our digital transformation initiatives. You will not just track timelines; you will partner with business stakeholders to ensure that every IT deliverable translates into tangible business value. You will act as a "Gatekeeper" for project quality, managing risks, vendors, and internal resources to take projects from initiation to successful go live.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Digital Transformation: Lead end-to-end IT projects (Initiation to Go-Live) to drive digital transformation.
- KPI Achievement: Define and track project KPIs to ensure alignment with corporate strategic goals.
Stakeholder & Business Value
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Operations to deliver high-value IT solutions.
- Scope & Budget: Deliver projects on time and within budget while strictly managing scope creep.
Risk Management & Governance
- Proactive Gatekeeping: Manage project risks, solve problems, and raise "red flags" to maintain project integrity.
- Transparent Reporting: Provide clear status updates to the PMO and escalate critical issues to management.
Leadership & Vendor Management
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead internal IT teams (Developers, Architects) in a matrix environment.
- Vendor Oversight: Manage external vendors and integrators to ensure SLA compliance and delivery quality
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management, specifically focused on Enterprise Applications
- Strong knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile\/Scrum methodologies, with the ability to adapt the approach based on project needs.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow, Smartsheet).
- Excellent ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical business stakeholders.
- A critical thinker who can anticipate "roadblocks" before they become "stoppers."
