Description
VPG is seeking a Data & BI Team Lead to drive a global Data Intelligence initiative. This high-impact, hands-on role involves transforming multi-ERP data into a scalable, governed asset - from architecture to production-grade BI - while building internal capabilities to sustain it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Recruit and mentor a team of engineers and analysts; define the operating model and align the data roadmap with the Global CIO.
- Data Architecture: Lead the design and governance of a centralized Snowflake data lake, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Governance & Security: Implement data security, compliance, and quality frameworks to ensure a "single source of truth."
- BI & Analytics: Manage the full BI lifecycle, delivering executive dashboards and self-service tools across Finance, Ops, and Sales to drive data literacy.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 6+ years in Data Engineering or Data Architecture, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or lead-engineer role.
- 3+ years in a team lead or technical leadership capacity with direct reports.
- Proven track record delivering enterprise data warehouse or BI platform implementations in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Technical Stack: Proven expertise in cloud data environments (Azure\/AWS), SQL, Python, and modern orchestration tools.
- Foundational Experience: Demonstrated experience in building a Data Lake or Data Warehouse from scratch.
- English - Exceptional communication skills in English
