Description

The Process Engineer will play a key role in driving process excellence and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for identifying process inefficiencies, analyzing root causes, and implementing robust, data-driven solutions to ensure stable, high-performing, and repeatable processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify chronic process issues, perform root-cause analysis, and develop sustainable solutions to improve yield, quality, and overall process performance.
  • Maintain and continuously improve machine and process performance to reduce variability and enhance operational stability.
  • Characterize process windows for newly developed or transferred processes to achieve consistent and repeatable results.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources, translating complex information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Generate, analyze, and support engineering data for decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Create, update, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and working instructions in alignment with engineering and production needs.
  • The position is a 9-month maternity leave cover role, with the possibility of extension

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Materials/Chemical/Mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Prior experience in the semi-conductor industry or similar industries especially in process engineering.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of manufacturing line production, processing and integration.
  • Excellent project planning, scheduling, documentation, coordination, execution and communication skills.
  • Knowledge in defect management and visual inspection - advantage.
  • Knowledge of JMP Software will be preferred.
  • Self-starter, motivated which thrive in a dynamic manufacturing operation
  • Strong analytical and statistics skills
  • English – very good writing, reading & speaking
