Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Operations to lead and optimize end-to-end manufacturing operations at our Modi’in site within the Sensors Division.

This role is highly focused on production excellence, complex planning, and global operational execution, including leading strategic product transfers to India.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

  • Lead all day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production, planning, and maintenance, to ensure execution against business targets.
  • Drive operational discipline to meet and exceed KPIs across output, delivery performance, cost, and efficiency.

Production & Performance Management

  • Own production performance and continuously improve yield, productivity, throughput, and on-time delivery.
  • Implement structured processes to monitor, analyze, and improve operational performance.

Complex Planning & Execution

  • Oversee multi-layered production planning, ensuring optimal capacity utilization and alignment with customer demand and business priorities.
  • Manage trade-offs between demand, capacity, and inventory to support business continuity and growth.

Global Operations & Product Transfer

  • Lead and execute product transfer (relocation) projects to India, ensuring smooth ramp-down/ramp-up and continuity of supply.
  • Collaborate with global sites to ensure alignment, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with global stakeholders across supply chain, quality, engineering, and finance to ensure integrated execution.
  • Serve as a key interface between local operations and global leadership.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop managers and teams across production, planning, and maintenance.
  • Build a performance-driven culture focused on accountability, execution, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (MBA – advantage).
  • Significant leadership experience (typically 8–15 years) in operations management within electronics / semiconductor / high-tech manufacturing environments.
  • Proven track record in leading production-intensive operations with complex planning environments.
  • Hands-on experience managing global operations or product transfers between sites (India – strong advantage).
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance operational execution and strategic priorities.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, global organization.
