Job Description

Apart from being hands-on and performing legal work, you'll supervise external and internal legal activities, both within Israel and globally. Focusing primarily on Product and Privacy compliance, you'll work with product teams, handle Wix’s data privacy, draft agreements, and lead negotiations. You'll also provide professional guidance and support to our employees. As part of our team, you'll play a key role in keeping Wix's legal interests secure and promoting our success.

• Be part of the Privacy and Product Compliance team.

• Handle multiple tasks in a very fast paced and dynamic environment

• Be proactive, take responsibility and own your projects from start to finish

• Provide ongoing legal counseling and guidance on a wide range of commercial issues and product teams

• Draft licenses, terms of use, contracts & other legal documents

Qualifications

• Lawyer with 2-4 years of experience as in-house counsel of Internet companies or the same experience from a prominent law firm

• Smart, thorough, diligent, organized, business-oriented, tech-savvy and love to learn and research new legal aspects. You don't take any shortcuts

• People person and team player. When you're in, you're all in, because you're dedicated and care about your work and clients

• Knowledgeable in data protection and privacy regulations, licensing, and internet law (CIPP accreditation is an advantage)

• Understanding of compliance and international law

• A love for tech, internet, and SaaS

• Experienced in drafting commercial, privacy and consulting agreements

• Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking) is a must
