Job Description

Join the DevEx (Developer Experience) team, which provides a wide suite of developer tools to 2000 engineers across Wix. Help us build a developer platform that supports all aspects of the development lifecycle, improves dev velocity and enables business growth.

• Motivate and inspire a team of engineers to create solutions that allow us to build Wix’s code base faster, and in a more secure, customizable and efficient way

• Prioritize and manage processes to help the team deliver high quality solutions and do impactful work

• Mentor and advise your team in their day-to-day tasks, and support their professional development by providing training and growth opportunities

• Closely interact with different kinds of stakeholders across Wix

• Foster knowledge sharing, both within your team and across the organization

Qualifications

• An experienced team lead (3+ years) with strong engineering skills in both front-end (TypeScript, React, wix-style-react, CSS, etc.), and back-end (node/typescript)

• Skilled at creating high quality solutions using industry best practices, while navigating product needs and architectural constraints

• In-depth understanding of the agile development process and ability to lead projects from inception to completion

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely

• Comfortable navigating ongoing challenges and collaborating with diverse stakeholders

• Experience with infrastructure, developer tools, and internal workflows – an advantage
