Job Description
As a UX Writing Guild Master, you’ll be an integral part of shaping how we develop and execute Wix’s UX writing/content design practice in the age of AI. You’ll have a direct hand in building a culture of continuous learning, not just for writers but for the entire organization as we evolve our workflows. The programs you own will help shape the way Wix creates and maintains in-product content.
In your day-to-day, you will:
Contribute to the development of new workflows in the age of AI and own the curriculum for teaching these workflows across the company
Design and run the onboarding program for new UX writers
Deliver ongoing training and enrichment for writers and non-writers that ensures our UX text is of the highest quality
Shape the recruitment process to identify and hire excellent UX writers
Manage a student bootcamp program and oversee students’ professional development
Act as a professional lead for UX writers who don’t have professional support within their individual teams
Contribute to high-impact UX projects as needed, less than 25% of the time
Qualifications
Native-level English in writing, reading and speaking
3+ years hands-on experience as a UX writer/content designer with a portfolio that demonstrates a range of products; preference for those with previous leadership experience
2+ years experience in creating and delivering educational programs across complex organizational structures
Experience mentoring junior writers, preferably in a managerial role
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Comfortable with ambiguity, open and curious about evolving dynamics and AI-driven changes
Fantastic storyteller who excels at information hierarchy and can whip up a snazzy presentation in no time
Superb task and time management skills
