BI Developer (ETL Specialist)
Role Description: We are looking for a skilled BI Developer to lead development processes in accordance with our data methodologies. The role involves working closely with System Analysts and the Team Lead, managing integrations from a wide variety of internal and external data sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- ETL Development: Design and develop complex ETL processes for data loading from DB2, Oracle, and various external sources.
- External Integration: Manage integrations with external data providers (e.g., BDI systems).
- Data Modeling: Expand BDI structures to build complex corporate hierarchies (Parent-Subsidiary relationships).
- Performance Tuning: Optimize loading processes and database performance to ensure scalability.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation for all development processes and workflows.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Talend or DataStage within a DWH environment.
- ETL Expertise: Proven track record of developing and managing complex ETL pipelines.
- SQL Mastery: Expert-level SQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
- Database Proficiency: Solid experience working with Oracle and DB2 environments.
- Enterprise Experience: Background working in large-scale organizations using structured development methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
- Soft Skills: Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
