Position Summary
Your Mission: Drive innovation and growth at the forefront of optical technology. In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding Carl Zeiss Spectroscopy's Thin Film and Components business across Mainland China. Your primary focus will be to build deep, strategic relationships with key OEMs, promoting our innovative solutions and integrating our cutting-edge technology into the transformative automotive coatings, display, and semiconductor sectors.

Main Tasks
Your Role in Our Team:
You will not be doing this alone. You will join and be supported by a passionate, experienced team of local and headquarter-based experts. Together, we will:
1. Build & Grow: Forge and nurture strong, strategic relationships with key OEM accounts to foster significant business growth.
2. Navigate & Integrate: Master the local tech-ecosystem and champion the integration of our advanced optical sensor technology into customer applications.
3. Innovate & Validate: Lead product trials (MVP), gathering crucial customer feedback to ensure successful market entry and future development.
4. Strategize & Penetrate: Work hand-in-hand with our local Key Account and Sales Development Managers to develop and execute strategies for deep market penetration.
5. Collaborate & Execute: Be the vital link between our customers and our global expert team, ensuring market strategies are effectively implemented.
Requirements
Education
A Master’s degree (MSc) in Engineering, Electronics, Optoelectronics, or a comparable field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 -5 years of industry experience, ideally within an international environment.

2. Collaboration Skills: A natural team player who enjoys working collaboratively to achieve common goals.
3. Communication: Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin is essential. German language skills are a welcome bonus.
4. Mobility: Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
5. Capabilities:
a) Ability to confidently conduct commercial negotiations for pre-production series.
b) Know-how in optics and/or spectroscopic instrumentation
c) Comfort presenting and explaining complex technical concepts at meetings and international trade shows.
