Your role

Your main responsibility will be to provide administrative and operational support to the Project Manager.

• Support multiple strategic programs and central initiatives to ensure that their delivery is on time, within scope, and within budget

• Organize, prepare for, and participate in cross-departmental meetings to steer programs

• Provide administrative assistance to the Project Manager, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence

• Support our annual cross-ZEISS Digital Roadmapping process to identify digital synergies across different business units at ZEISS and contribute to presentations

• Help to develop and maintain program management documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments

Your Profile

• Currently enrolled and successfully completed at least 2 years of study, preferably in business, natural sciences, informatics, or (business) engineering, with good university grades

• Initial experience (e.g., via internships) in the corporate world, tech industry, or management consulting preferred

• A passion for digital technologies, innovation, transformation, and a keen interest in our diverse products and markets

• Experience in managing and steering work packages

• Strong MS Office skills (especially PowerPoint and Excel)

• Good written and verbal communication skills in German and English

• Proactive with a goal- and output-oriented approach, and a "can do" attitude
