What’s the role?
As an SAP S/4HANA Service Consultant, you will be responsible for shaping and optimizing our global service processes and solution architecture within SAP S/4HANA, including Inhouse Repair, Returns Management, CRM Integration, and related areas. You will play a key role in an exciting transformation project, transitioning from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. In this position, you will contribute to the development and implementation of the global template and operate within a service hub supporting the rollout.

Here’s what you’ll do:
Actively contribute to the global transformation program from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, supporting the standardization and simplification of our global process landscape.
Serve as the central IT contact for business groups within the S/4HANA service area, including Inhouse Repair, Returns Management, and CRM Integration.
Collaborate closely with business groups to collect, review, and prioritize business requirements for the ongoing SAP S/4HANA implementation.
Coordinate implementation efforts with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
Apply your knowledge of SAP customizing to configure and optimize solutions.
Work in close coordination with internal and external consultants in a dynamic project environment.
Support the integration of S/4HANA service processes with logistics, controlling, billing, and CRM systems.
Do you qualify?
Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of sales and service processes, including service planning and execution, inhouse repair, and returns management.
Experience in the implementation and customization of sales and service processes in SAP S/4HANA.
Proficiency in SAP customizing.
Fluent in English.
Excellent ability to work in international, cross-functional teams, with a consulting-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
Knowledge of related processes such as logistics execution, sales and distribution, controlling, procurement, or CRM (SAP / Salesforce) is a plus.
Working Conditions and Special Demands:
Travel: will be required and may increase for limited periods during go-live/post-go-live at different ZEISS locations across the Americas. Occasional business trips to Germany can also be required.
The annual pay range for this position is as follows:
NY/Metro $130,000 – 150,000
SF Bay Area $145,000 - $165,000
Central/Midwest $105,000 - $125,000
The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions. ZEISS also offers robust benefits, including medical plans, retirement savings plan and paid time off.
