Description
HRIS Specialist will take ownership of ZIM’s global Human Capital Management (HCM) platform, workforce structure management, data integrity, and HR systems interfaces. The HRIS Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our HR systems, managing accurate employee data and supporting various HR processes across the organization.
Major areas of responsibility
HR Information Systems Management
Oversee the administration, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the global HCM platform and HR information systems (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy, system availability, and user support.
Troubleshooting Systems Bugs
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, analyze problems, and lead technical solutions in collaboration with implementors, development and support teams.
Data Integrity and Compliance
- Establish data governance practices to maintain the integrity and accuracy of HR data within the HR information systems. Regularly audit and cleanse up data to minimize errors and discrepancies.
- Monitor and address data integrity issues and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Interface Management
Monitor and manage the smooth functioning of interfaces between the HCM platform and other HR systems.
Process Efficiency
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
User Support and Training
Provide user support and training to HR teams and employees on the functionality and usage of the HCM platform and related systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering & management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent diploma in a relevant discipline).
- 3 years of proven experience in HRIS administration and management or information systems, preferably in a global enterprise.
- In-depth knowledge of Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms, such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, or similar systems.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, workforce management, and HR systems integration.
- Proficiency in HR data management, reporting, and analytics.
- Familiarity with HR systems interfaces and integration methodologies.
- Basic understanding of data governance and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with HR and IT teams, stakeholders, and system vendors. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced expertise in Excel, including complex functions
- Strong analytical skills– ability to analyze data, generate business insights, and draw conclusions.
