The Process Analyst is responsible for monitoring the implementation of Shipping Economics guidelines/processes by Countries and Bus, review their performance, suggest
ways to improve existing processes and manage the implementation of such improvements.
Main Tasks:
Shipping Economics Guidelines and Processes
- Monitor the implementation of Shipping economics guidelines and review performance.
- Analyze the Countries/BUs current practices to identify gaps vs such guidelines.
- Perform periodic assessment and follow up of such guidelines and close any gaps found.
- Review internal audit report recommendations / quality assurance procedures / Corporate. Governance suggestions and implement based on the specified timetable.
- Suggest ways to improve current processes led by the Shipping Economics and implement them.
- Monitor that Shipping Economics SOX requirements are managed properly.
Economic/Business decision support evaluations
- Support the Head of Shipping Economics in ad-hoc projects.
- Provide economic evaluations, to support Shipping Economics decisions.
- Qualitative and quantitative analysis, recommendations, follow up and implementation.
Requirements
Academic education: Bachelor’s Degree holder in Economics/ Business management/ Industrial management engineering. CPA - an advantage.
Minimum 3 years of experience in an analytical/ economic position/ audit – a must.
High level of analytical skills, proactive and process oriented.
Fluency in English language (Speaking, reading and writing).
Control of office tools, Excel and Power Point in particular.
