Description
We are looking for a Traffic manager that will be responsible for all commercial, regulatory and documentation processes within the agencies as well as Company Sanctions Compliance.
Major areas of Responsibility
Implementation of Worldwide Regulations and compliance with Sanctions
- Collect / Receive customs regulations from the Global agents.
- Distributing the information with worldwide agents, ensuring their compliance to avoid unnecessary fines, complaints and customers’ dissatisfaction.
- Overseeing daily comparison between company customers and list of sanctioned entities, handling matches.
- Responsible to block and/or release the block of those customers who were found to be a match during the comparison.
- Responsible for the Implementation of the sanctions set by the EU, UN, USA, and other authorities.
- Secretary of Corporate Sanctions Committee, responsible for preparing the materials for the meetings and publishing the decisions of the committee.
- Provide guidance and working guidelines to foster continued compliance with the company's commercial policies.
- Analyzing fines received from local authorities to the agents for non-compliance of regulations and providing suggestions and guidance to avoid recurrence.
- Analyze and work with the relevant parties within ZIM: if there are required developments in ZIMs systems or a change in the working processes to implement regulations.
Implementation of Commercial Aspects of Company Projects and setting Company Service Matrix, including KPIs
- Mapping current CS activities in agencies to ensure alignment to company’s Best Practice procedures.
- Define and implement the CS Matrix and KPIs related to documentation processes.
- Define working procedures for new corporate projects relate to CS.
- Updating company policies regarding Documentation and Commercial processes
- Providing guidance and training to GSS on all documentation issues and leading the implementation of new processes as well as updating existing ones.
- Working with countries to reduce the number of manifest correctors.
- Working with countries to ensure corrector reasons are accurately tagged.
- Member of CS War room in case of cyber-attack. Responsible for providing solutions for documentation and commercial processes which can arise during cyber events.
- Increase the usage of auto freighting (supporting also to reduce the number of manifest correctors).
Master Data Maintenance
- Overseeing CUCC codes opening and maintaining, ensuring standard SLA is complied.
- Managing the Global CUCC Desk activities, including the quality of their performance.
- Responsible for periodical cleansing of CUCC codes.
- Updating Master Tables under Traffic Unit control:
- Container types
- Package types
- SCAC codes
- Clauses
- Unblocking and reinstating block of container types, neutral countries, as well as sanctioned container prefixes.
- Supervising the creation and update of agent contact details on the ZIM Website and in ZIM systems.
- Handling CCM movements.
Commercial Processes Owner in IT
- Providing business guidelines and guidance for development of the commercial processes in ZIM’s agent systems.
- Representing the Business for all related updates and changes in the Company’s Best Practice within the global agencies.
- Accompany the implementation of new systems or System versions. (such as AgenTeam and AgentCloud)
- Electronic BL – providing business guidelines and supporting worldwide usage.
- Member of DCSA Form Representing ZIM Commercial Processes.
- DCSA BOC Member that defines the scope of DCSA activities.
Requirements
- Vast experience in various aspects of ZIM agencies’ procedures and processes, including Customer Service, Logistics, Operations and Finance.
- Extensive knowledge of ZIM documentation and commercial processes and the implementation within ZIM systems (Agenteam, AgentCloud, ZRM etc).
- Extensive knowledge of the legal aspects of the documentation issued by the agent to the customer, full comprehension of the documents and the requirements for each one.
- Knowledge of worldwide regulations and implications on the Customer and the Agents’ working processes.
- Full ability to analyze the processes / regulations and foster their implementation in ZIM agencies.
- Proven Management and Leadership skills.
- Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
