Description

We are looking for a HRIS Specialist that will take ownership of ZIM’s global Human Capital Management (HCM) platform, workforce structure management, data integrity, and HR systems interfaces.

The HRIS Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our HR systems, managing accurate employee data and supporting various HR processes across the organization.

Main Tasks:

HR Information Systems Management

Oversee the administration, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the global HCM platform and HR information systems (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy, system availability, and user support.

Troubleshooting Systems Bugs

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, analyze problems, and lead technical solutions in collaboration with implementors, development and support teams.

Data Integrity and Compliance

Establish data governance practices to maintain the integrity and accuracy of HR data within the HR information systems. Regularly audit and cleanse up data to minimize errors and discrepancies.

Monitor and address data integrity issues and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Interface Management

Monitor and manage the smooth functioning of interfaces between the HCM platform and other HR systems.

Process Efficiency

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

User Support and Training

Provide user support and training to HR teams and employees on the functionality and usage of the HCM platform and related systems.



Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics / Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent diploma in a relevant discipline).
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Information Systems (IS)- including system administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and user support, preferably in a global enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of systems integration concepts, interfaces, and data flows across enterprise applications.
  • Preferably proven experience in HRIS administration and management, a strong understanding of HR processes, and knowledge of HR systems such as Oracle HCM, SAPHR, SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar platforms.
  • Basic understanding of data governance and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with HR and IT teams, stakeholders, and system vendors. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced expertise in Excel, including complex functions.
  • Strong analytical skills- ability to analyze data, generate business insights, and draw conclusions.
  • Fluent in English – a must
